If you are anything like most Americans, you are likely feeling too full from a week of celebrations! Instead of feeling over stuffed for days, Make a salad!

I’m often guilty of buying ingredients for a salad and never using them as I think I need to make it full of “good” stuff. I do tend to enjoy simple salads that do not include a lot of prep work which makes this salad something I can do most days. For this I’m buying precooked chicken makes this even easier.


  • Greens
  • 3 oz chicken
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • Sliced pear
  • 2 tablespoons salad dressing


  1. Place salad components on a plate and enjoy!
    • Optional: You can warm your chicken before adding it to the salad greens.
